Our Story

Shayla Herndon-Edmunds founded Oh My Goodness Wellness Bar in 2015 after spending more than 10 years making her own natural products and remedies for their family. At the time, she was making products and developing strategies for managing her son's eczema and realized that she wasn't the only mom facing the challenge of needing healthy products and solutions for her family. Shayla started OMG as online boutique and quickly expanded the product line to include body butter, lotion, soap, candles, and more. Her "Mommy's Belly Butter," was even endorsed by Keshia Knight Pulliam, who used the product throughout her pregnancy.

Little do Shayla know that after working in the manufacturing industry for nearly 15 years, her husband Curtis would decide to change careers by becoming a licensed massage therapist. The stars aligned and in 2018, OMG expanded again to become a brick and mortar wellness boutique offering natural products and bodywork services including massage therapy, cupping, Reiki, aromatherapy, spiritual coaching and wellness programming.

The Edmunds are on a mission to promote well-being by providing access to natural health and beauty products and offering holistic bodywork services that are responsive to the unique needs of their clients. Oh My Goodness Wellness Bar isn't just their family business, it is their lifestyle and calling. With products and services inspired by their children, loved ones and customers they offer have something for everyone.
